Truth is rude. Deal with it.

That’s the tagline, and it’s also about the closest thing I’ve got to a mission statement. This site is where I’m putting the stories I’ve been sitting on for years — a Southern literary thriller called The Trespass, a memoir for my parents called HUNNY, a fable about a lion and a butterfly, and a children’s book about two seagulls named Sal and Sugar who meet at Rudee Inlet and figure out that two are better than one.

None of it is polished agency copy. It’s honest words about real life, written the way I’d tell it to you over sweet tea on the porch. If that sounds like your kind of thing, pull up a chair and look around.
